Hope(Dykebar Pandemonium) was bred by John Ritchie. John I am sure will require no introduction. He is probably best known for his achievement at Crufts in 1994 when his beautiful bitch Sky (SH CH Dykebar Future Glory) went reserve best in show. A truely memorable occasion.

Hope was born on October the 3rd 1993 she is out of SH CH Altricia Pandora at Dykebar by SH CH Brooksbid Country Classic. Before she was old enough to start agility training she did appear in the show ring a few times and managed to qualify for Crufts 1995. Hope enjoyed her agility and did collect a fair number of rosettes along the way. She had her first litter in January 1996. A litter of eight puppies to INT NAT SH CH Clan Abby Blue Aberdoone. Three blue dogs, two blue bitches and three black and white bitches. We chose to keep Abbie, one of the black and white bitches. One of the blue and white bitches also went to an agility home. Rancolie Blue Dawn is owned by Janice Carstairs and she has achieved senior status. Abbie had one novice win but unfortunately that second win required to put her into seniors never quite came along. Abbie was a keen agility dog and although now retired she likes the opportunity to have a go over lower jumps and still loves to weave.

Hope had a second litter in January 1999. The sire this time was Annette Tasker's red and white working trials dog Goytre Simply a New Flame At Caristan. There were five pups in this litter, two black and white dogs, two tri coloured bitches and one black and white bitch. Three of these went to agility homes. One of the tri coloured bitches, Rancolie Racan Ruidhi , owned by Anne Gallagher competes in senior. The other tri coloured bitch, Rancolie Shananakins is owned by Chris Nero and one of the black and white dogs, Rancolie N'er Day Handsel is owned by Anne McBride. He has one novice win and is looking as though the second win is not too far away.

Hope had her third and final litter in September 1999. The sire was Bessamour Digger, a lovely blue merle and tan dog. From this litter we kept the blue merle, Daz.There were four other pups in this litter. One tri coloured bitch, one tri coloured dog and two black and white dogs. The tri coloured bitch, Rancolie Foxy Music, owned by Aileen Charlton now competes in advanced classes. Rancolie Dean, owned by Lorain Carberry is a senior dog as is our own boy, Daz. Hope is about to celebrate her thirteenth birthday, she is still fit and well and we hope to have her for a number of years to come.
